**Oatmeal Nut Pie**

Don't let it's name fool you! This is an amazing pie that I enjoy making year round. I certainly don't need any special occasion to make this!

1 c light karo syrup

3 eggs, slightly beaten

1 c brown sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/3 c margarine, melted

3/4 c coconut

1 c oatmeal

1/2 c chopped walnuts

1 tsp vanilla

Combine ingredients in order given... Pour into an unbaked 9" pie shell. Bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes or until set.

I love it served warm with ice cream or cool whip! YUMMY!!!!

Happy Cooking
