Menu Board Monday....oops Tuesday Edition #13 : Ham & Cheese Popovers

With Mother's Day over the weekend, I was running like a mad woman trying to complete things I needed to get done.  I hadn't even thought about Menu Board Monday Tuesday this week.  But lucky for me, I have a sweet little girl that did!  I know that Mother's Day is over now, but that shouldn't stop you from letting your kids get in the kitchen and give you a break! We all need one of those, right?

So, here is our latest Kids in the Cupboard Recipe for you to try with your children!

A big THANK YOU to Makenzie for her help!

First unroll all the crescent rolls....

Sprinkle cheese and ham on each triangle...

Now roll up the rolls starting with the wider end...

Place in a silicone baking cup and squish down a little!

Place on a cookie sheet to bake....

Bake in 425 degree oven for 10 minutes...

While the popovers are baking, clean up your mess!
Always remember to leave the kitchen CLEAN!

Remove from cups after cooling for 2-5 minutes...

2 pkgs refrigerated crescent rolls (16 rolls)
2 cups chopped ham
2 cups shredded cheese of your choice

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.  Unroll your rolls and separate them.  Sprinkle ham and cheese on each triangle and roll them up.  Place them in a silicone baking cup (you could use a lightly greased cupcake pan) and squish them down a bit.  Place silicone cups on a baking sheet.  Place in the oven and bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.  Remove from oven and cool for 2-5 minutes.  Remove from cups and ENJOY!

Bradey's Brownies
adapted from Cook it in a Cup
printable recipe

2 large squares unsweetened chocolate, chopped
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Put the chocolate and the butter in a microwave safe bowl.  Microwave for 15 seconds, then stir. If mixture isn't smooth, return to microwave for another 15 seconds and repeat until melted.  In another bowl, using a fork, beat the eggs until thick.  Add the sugar and mix well.  Add the chocolate mixture and mix thoroughly.  Add the vanilla, flour, and salt and stir until combines.  Stir in the chocolate chips.  Place the cups on a baking sheet.  Divide batter between cups.  Bake for 30 minutes or until the tops crack.  Cool for 15 minutes. Eat & Enjoy!
